Aastha Agarwal

Aastha studied architecture at the Apex Group of Institutions, Jaipur. She has worked on different scale projects, including interiors in Jaipur. Having joined Saar in 2021, she is the second generation to work and contribute to the culture of the Secure Group. As an enthusiastic model maker, Aastha is excited to see the world move towards a more sustainable future.

Ananya Singhal

Ananya Singhal

Ananya met Jonny at Bath in 2003, forming the friendship that Studio Saar is founded on. Ananya went on to work on private projects in the United Kingdom and India, specifically for Secure Meters, including two IGBC platinum rated green buildings. Ananya created the first list of heritage buildings in Udaipur for the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage and worked at Sangath with Pritzker Prize winning architect Dr BV Doshi and Rajeev Khatpalia. He works at Secure Meters as a part of the leadership team and the design lead at Studio Saar. He is a keen photographer and furniture designer/maker.

Avichal Dubey

Avichal Dubey

Avichal Dubey graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Delhi in 2014. He began his career as a program presenter at All India Radio before moving to TV journalism with ABP News and later to digital media with The Wire and India Today. After gaining extensive experience in broadcast production, he joined our team in 2024. His career highlights include covering India's longest election road journey, winning the South Asian Digital Media Award, and drawing international media attention with his exclusive report on Delhi.

Beth Kippin

Beth Kippin

Beth joined Studio Saar in September 2025. She has recently completed her Masters in Architecture at the University of Bath, as both an RIBA Silver Medal and AJ Student Prize nominee, as well as winning the international Infravision ‘City as a Network’ competition with her team’s masterplan proposal for Bhopal, India. She has a breadth of professional experience ranging from working on nationally significant infrastructure with Grimshaw, to leading design on adaptive reuse projects with Connolly Wellingham Architects. Beth is particularly focused on holistic, regenerative and community-led design.

Bhuvan Goyal

Bhuvan Goyal

Bhuvan studied architecture at Aayojan School of Architecture & Planning, Jaipur. He started working with Studio SAAR in 2023 after his graduation. He believes design is a collection of subtle interactions between an ecosystem and its occupants, and architecture will provide him with the ability to work on those interactions at all scales.

चंद्रेश सुथार

चंद्रेश स्टूडियो सार के मुख्य कारपेंटर हैं, इन्होंने 2018 में जॉइन किया। चंद्रेश उदयपुर निवासी हैं और इन्होंने कला में स्नातक डिग्री प्राप्त की है। इन्हें क्रिकेट खेलना, गाने सुनना बहुत पसंद है। इनका कहना है कि इनके घर के सभी सदस्य सकारात्मक सोच वाले हैं। खाली समय में इन्हें ड्रॉइंग बनाना, लकड़ी से मूर्ति बनाना व अन्य कार्य करना पसन्द है। इन्हें कार्य में जोखिम (रिस्क) लेना पसंद है और जीवन में किसी बड़े मुकाम पर पहुँचने का लक्ष्य रखते हैं।

हरि शंकर सुथार

हरि शंकर स्टूडियो सार में प्रशिक्षु (ट्रेनी) कारपेंटर हैं। इन्होंने 2022 में स्टूडियो सार की वर्कशॉप जॉइन और जल्दी ही अपने आप को यहाँ स्थापित कर लिया। इन्हें लकड़ी का काम बहुत पसंद है।

Harish Mori

Harish Mori

Harish earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the Buddha Institute of Architecture and Town Planning and joined Studio Saar in 2022. He focuses primarily on creating human-scale architecture with a more hands-on approach. He believes quality architecture enhances the well-being of its users and is always eager to learn and grow.

Harsh Shah

Harsh Shah

Harsh graduated with a bachelor's degree in architecture from the School of Environment and Architecture, Mumbai. He is a critical thinker and an avid observer with a keen eye for detail - not only in his field but also in the politics of everyday life. For him, architecture is a dialogue between space and life. He is deeply interested in exploring how the built environment influences the spatial, socio-political, economic, and cultural dimensions of human experience. For Harsh, architecture extends beyond form and function; it shapes how people live, interact, and perceive the world.

Henish Doriwala

Henish Doriwala

Henish joined Studio Saar as an Architectural Assistant in November 2025, following the completion of his BSc (Hons) in Architectural Studies at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. He is committed to creating innovative, functional and emotionally resonant architecture that enriches everyday life. Focused on expanding his experience and developing his skills as an architectural designer, Henish is driven by a desire for continuous growth within the field. He also has a particular interest in furniture design.

Hitesh Suthar

Hitesh Suthar

Hitesh joined Studio Saar in 2022. He is a draftsman, supporting the entire studio in preparing and publishing drawings. He has just started working on-site.

Imran Khan

Imran Khan

Imran Khan joined Studio Saar in early 2025 and has been instrumental in advancing BIM integration across projects. He holds a Master’s degree in Construction Management from the College of Engineering, Pune, and began his career working on major airport projects. Over the years, he has contributed to large-scale industrial developments, including India’s first Micron semiconductor plant. Imran is committed to driving innovation and delivering high-quality project outcomes.

Inaki Susbielles

Inaki Susbielles

Iñaki joined Studio Saar in late 2021. He completed his master’s degree in architecture and urbanism at the Universidad de La Plata, Argentina. Before joining the studio, he worked in various small-scale practices, gaining experience in residential architecture projects that addressed climate change and contemporary living challenges.

Jay Llyod

Jay Llyod

Jay’s degree in 3D Animation and Digital Design, combined with his direct experience of living and working on the land, naturally came together when he discovered Landscape Architecture in 2016. After 7 years developing his skills in that field, his work alongside studio SAAR, combined with a curiosity about architecture, led to an ongoing collaboration with the practice.

John Swiss

John Swiss

John joined Studio SAAR in November 2024 following the completion of his Masters in Architecture (Part II) at the University of Bath. His architectural interests are centred on community engagement and communal living. During his degree, he visited several co-living projects in Central Europe to study the architectural nuances that allow such communities to succeed. Before moving into architecture, John completed a BSc in Mathematics at Durham University.

Jonny Buckland

Jonny Buckland

Jonny began his career studying alongside Ananya in 2003 at the University of Bath, UK. Almost twenty years later Studio Saar has been established to continue their shared vision in crafting uplifting places and spaces. Jonny gained his professional qualifications at London Metropolitan University studying under Professor Maurice Mitchel and Professor Robert Mull, which embedded a strong interest in social value architecture. Jonny has previously worked for two Stirling Prize winning practices, FeildenCleggBradley Studios and AllfordHallMonaghanMorris before setting up practice independently. Jonny is an ARB RIBA registered architect in the UK.

Laura Virto Martinez

Laura Virto Martinez

Laura trained as an architect at the University of Navarre, Spain and joined Studio Saar in 2022. In 2013, she moved to London to grow her professional career. She gained extensive experience working on various projects and developed an interest in designing public spaces where communities come together.

 Md Fahad Iqbal

Md Fahad Iqbal

Fahad earned his master’s degree in arts from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. With a rich background in geography and urban planning, he joined Studio Saar in 2024. Fahad is passionate about examining urban ecosystems and exploring the intricate interactions within urban environments.

Olivia McGrath

Olivia McGrath

Olivia completed her Part I in Architecture at Kingston University before joining Studio SAAR in 2025. Her architectural interests lie in creating community-embedded, site-specific projects informed by careful research and contextual understanding. During her studies, she explored the role of photography as a design tool and developed a strong interest in cultural narratives within architecture. Her dissertation examined the work of Luis Barragán, an architect from her country of birth, analysing how cultural identity and spatial language are expressed through his architecture.

Priyadarshini Sharma

Priyadarshini Sharma

Priyadarshini graduated as an Architect from Manipal University, Karnataka. She joined the team in January 2022 and has a minimal, user-oriented, contextual design approach. Experimenting with materials and focusing on small details inspire her. She is a keen sportsperson and enjoys hiking and adventure sports.

Rajendra Bairagi

Rajendra Bairagi

Rajendra Das Bairagi earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a diploma in 2013. He has been instrumental in preparing the drawings and models for the Sanand project. Being able to visualise the nuances of projects easily, he enjoys working both in the studio and on-site. He is an enthusiastic professional and loves exploring brand-new buildings.

Sandali Rathore

Sandali Rathore

Sandali graduated from Aayojan School of Architecture, Jaipur, and joined Studio Saar in 2025 after gaining experience in Jaipur and Ahmedabad. Her design journey is shaped by a deep appreciation for the processes that precede form— sketching, research, model making, design dialogue and intuitive observation. She is drawn to architecture for its ability to influence everyday life in subtle but powerful ways.

Shobhan Sachan

Shobhan Sachan

Shobhan completed his master's degree in City Planning from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. With a background in architecture, he is passionate about the human-centric design of cities and the built environment. He believes in seeing the concepts of ecology and sustainability through the cultural lens. He enjoys creatively exploring the world through writing, sketching, photography, and travel.
