This 15th century farmhouse needed a substantial but sympathetic modern extension to suit the needs of the growing family. Our proposal was simple, to extend the younger part of the house and create two new ensuites and more generous living quarters and a new entrance. The house had three chimneys, each a marker of a historical architectural addition, we continued the tradition by adding a new fireplace and chimney to the new family lounge.
